He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Wynette Holden; his parents, Eulon Holden and Ima Holden; and his siblings, Willard, Donald Holden and JoAnn Easley.

He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Holden Russell (Brandon Russell); his granddaughters, Chelsie Lynne Verberne (Allen Bickford), Caitlin Leanne Verberne (Corey Clouatre) and Carlie Lauren Verberne (Hayden Varnado); his great grandchildren, Kamryn Brooke Verberne and Lynleigh Reese Clouatre; his grandson Dakota Russell; his sister Sue Holden Deakles; his niece Valerie Deakles Willman (Brett Willman); and his great-nieces, Emilyn and Elisabeth Willman. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
