It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bolivar Kemp Ellis of Amite, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert S. Ellis, III; and his grandparents, Judge Robert S. Ellis, Jr., Eleanor "Peeps" Kemp Ellis, Norbert "Robbie" Robinson and Collette Wilken Robinson.
He is survived by: his mother Nancy Robinson Ellis; his brother Jesse Ellis (Sumerset); and his nephews, Emery Ellis and Ansel Ellis. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
