It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Bye Dowden of Amite, Louisiana, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eula Bye and Gillis Bye; her brother Gillis Bye Jr.; and her son James H. Dowden, III. She is survived by: her husband James H. Dowden, Jr.; her brother Robert Bye; her daughter Julie Blount (James); her grandsons, Bradley Flynn, Zachary Blount and Chase Blount; her great grandchild Dallas Flynn; and her granddaughter Jammie Dowden.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation.
