He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Vullo Giardina; his parents, Angelo Giardina and Frances Schillage Giardina; and his brothers, Nick Giardina and Joseph Giardina.
He is survived by: his sons, Angelo Thomas Giardina (Trudy), Kenneth Gerard Giardina (Melba) and Gerald Anthony Giardina (Melinda); his grandchildren, Dwayne Giardina (Andilyn), Lauren Cutrer (Drew), Andrew Giardina, Marlie Giardina and Jude Giardina; his great grandchildren, Ava Cutrer, Mark, Mason and Myles Giardina; his brother Salvador Giardina (Dianne); and his sister-in-law Gloria Giardina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Helena Catholic Church Full of Grace.
