She was predeceased by: her parents, William Fryou and Rita Veret Fryou; and her sisters, Thelma Blanchard, Bessie Mabile and Mayole McDoanld.
She is survived by: her husband Diny Blanchard of Amelia; her sons, Hansel Blanchard (Norma) of Belle Rose and Julius Blanchard (Doris) of Amelia; her siblings, Lester Fryou (Lois) of Morgan City and Viola Homer of Berwick; her grandchildren, Toby Blanchard, Lanette Blanchard and Stefanie Higginbotham; her great grandchildren, Kelsey Chase, Dalton Chaisson, Hannah Delanie and Gracie Higginbotham; and her great great grandchildren, Lennox and Stella Batiste.
Due to restrictions with limited gatherings, current guidelines allow for 100 people in attendance for the visitation at the funeral home, as well as for Mass while practicing social distancing.
