With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Henderson Jr. of Amelia, Louisiana, born in Morgan City, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 14, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelmina Henderson, and George Henderson, Sr.; and his brothers, Wayne Henderson, Sr., Anthony Henderson, Sr. and Curtis Henderson.

He is survived by: his close friend Delores Thomas; and his siblings, Lionel (Sandra), Edward, Morrel, Louis (Bobbie), Willie, John Henderson, Juanita Toups (Oscar), Mary Ann Bogan and Theresa Gaskins (Jerry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
