She was predeceased by: her parents, Francois Schexnaydre and Marie Schexnaydre; her husband Nelson Thomas Zeringue, Sr.; her son Randy M. Zeringue; and her siblings, Isabelle Zeringue (Andre), Phedelise Zeringue (Leonard), Palymire Matija (Steve), Dora Zeringue (Marion), Clorine Zeringue (Harold), Francois E. Schexnaydre (Emma Mae) and Urban L. Schexnaydre (Sandra).

She is survived by: her children, Nelson T. Zeringue, Jr. (Jennifer), Barry F. Zeringue (Betty), Irene M. Love (Paul), Pamela Z. Foret (George), Cynthia Z. Turner (Bobby) and Gary P. Zeringue; her grandchildren, Alex (Amy), Randy (Jeannie), Brett (Shelly), Jared (Devon), Blake (Nicole), Leighanne (Drew), Steven (Brittney), Kerry (Anna), Alyssa (Zack), Ashley (Roberto), Melaina (Jason), Joshua, Dana (Michael) and Lauren (Thomas); and her sibling Thomas Schexnaydre (Diane). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
