It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Hensley (Ama, Louisiana), born in Saint James, Louisiana, who passed away on March 29, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smith, Sr. and Fannie Johnson; and her brother Charles Smith, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Hensley, Ellen H. Weber, Leroy Hensley, Robert Hensley, Lois Hensley and Gerald Ann Hensley; and her siblings, Shirley Joseph, Lawrence Geason, Sr., Milton Geason, Alex Geason, Percy Geason, Theresa Steib and Gloria Simmons. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
