It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Agnes Brown of Ama, Louisiana, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Christophe and Edgar Pierre; her husband Alvin Brown; her child Shelby Brown; and her grandchild Tori Myers.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Tate, Melvin Brown and Hope Myers; her siblings, Irving Pierre, Sr., Eva Compton, Barbara Pilson, Alfred, Claude, Ruben, Sr. and Arnold Pierre; and her grandchildren, Walter Jr., Joel Tate, Tara Foster, Kiley, Jeremy Brown, Marlene and Brittany. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
