It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Kay Micale Lewis in Alexandria, Louisiana, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Benjamin Bruce "Bubba" Mayes Jr.; her father Samuel C Micale; and her sisters, Cindy Salvatore and Debra Micale McWhirt. She is survived by: her sons, Notley Mark Lewis II (Sarah) of Orlando, FL and James Robert "J. R." Lewis (Amber) of Naples, FL; her grandchildren, Paulyanna Lewis, Notley Mark "Bubba" Lewis III and Kassidy Sullivan; and her mother Verla Mae Burleson Micale.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the East Leesville Baptist Church (266 Alexandria Hwy, Leesville, LA 71446).
