He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Edwards Sr. and Letha Mae Edwards; his uncle Gene Ruth; his aunts, Beatrice Ruth and Willie Mae Lowe; and his brother Charles Edwards.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Debra McQuarn; his children, Shannon Edwards, Charlotte McQuarn, Lakeisha McQuarn, Latonya Edwards, Kaliste Hobbs, Travis Edwards, Sr., Cavetrik Tilley, Samuel Harris, Anton Edwards and Tiras Edwards; his brother Sammy Williams; and his cousins, Bertha Welch, Bobbie Lowe and Stacey Ferrell. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Macedonia Church (1800 England Dr, Alexandria, LA 71303). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
