“I was very upset and sad to learn Thursday afternoon that Father Courville had gone to meet his Lord and Savior on November 11 after his long battle with lymphoma. Father Courville and I met when we were both 28 years old and he was associate pastor of St. Bernard's in Breaux Bridge. I met him at the home of my first cousin, Lola Dauterive McFaul and her husband, J. C. who lived across the driveway from my aunt, Ethel Broussard. We became very close friends and kept in touch over time.”
