He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Hayzel Carmouche; his stepdaughter Kim Laird; his parents, Robert Lawrence Semple, Sr. and Lena Neal Semple; and his brother Tommy Semple.
He is survived by: his wife Theda Snyder Semple; his sons, Robert L. Semple, III (Lynn), Danny S. Semple (Monica) and Darrel Semple (Jennifer); his stepdaughter Gerelyn Anthony (Randy); and his sister Frances Brinson (David). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Boyce (310 Londonderry Ave, Boyce, LA 71409).
