He was predeceased by: his parents, Gurney H. Byerly and Ida Marie Hunt Byerly. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Wainwright Byerly; his children, Bobby Byerly (Tabatha) and Dawn Nixon (Shane); and his stepchildren, Jennifer Idurnum (Erik), Stephanie Paylor and Richard Allen Paylor (Brooklyn). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
