It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patsy June Franks of Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John David "Junior" Franks; her son David John Franks; her parents, Henry "Sonny Boy" Verzwyvelt and Bena Verzwyvelt; and her sisters, Eleanor "Ninny" Abercrombie and Rosemary Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Franks, Wanda Franks (Rickey) and Janet Perkins; her brother James "Jim" Verzwyvelt (Gloria); her grandchildren, Mookie Perkins (Brittany), Christopher Perkins, David Perkins (Alanis) and Brandi Evans (Buck); and her great grandchildren, Dylan Sweat, Baylee Perkins, Layla Perkins, Carlo Perkins, Kye Perkins, Leland Perkins, Lane Evans and Kennedi Evans. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
