Nancy Smilie Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2024, at the age of 86, Nancy Smilie of Alexandria, Louisiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy Smilie to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. N. Wickert Sr. (Sarah WIckert) and W. Va; and her siblings, J. N. Wickert Jr. of South Charleston, W. Va, Paul C. Wickert of Annandale, Virginia and Sarabeth Wickert (W. Va) of South Charleston.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Jim Smilie (Becky) of Woodworth and Carolyn Smilie of Pineville; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Smilie Fuqua (C. J.) of Glenmora and Michael Smilie (Maria) of Tioga. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Cenla Chapter of the American Red Cross and/or First Presbyterian Church of Alexandria.
