She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank M. Stinson and Julia Williams Stinson; her husband Carl Smith; her siblings, Mary Oglesby, Ruth Humphrey, Melba Houghton, James Roy Stinson and David A. Stinson; and her son-in-law Bruce R. Underwood.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melanie Gayle Underwood of Alexandria and Carleen Smith Bonner (Mark) of St. Francisville, Louisiana.; her grandchildren, William Kyle Huffstickler (Michelle) of Pride, LA and Karla Huffstickler Hatch (Josef) of St. Francisville, LA; her great grandchildren, Timothy Huffstickler and Amy Huffstickler; her great great grandchildren, Lizzy and Levi Stout; and her nephew Dale Humphrey (Kathy). She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home (701 Jackson St, Alexandria, LA 71301). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Hixson Brothers (701 Jackson St, Alexandria, LA 71301).
