She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Vercher; her parents, Ernest Messer and Viola Messer; and her siblings, Bobby Messer, Stanley Messer, Victor Messer, Maxine Robinson and Linda Pickering.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Vercher Wade (Steve) of Forest Hill; her grandsons, Garrett Wade of Baton Rouge and Ben Wade of Forest Hill; and her siblings, Yvonne Stockman of Franklinton, LA, Audry McMahon of Franklinton, LA, Joy Holloway of Forest Hill, Debra Meshell of Forest Hill, Brenda Miller of Jacksonville, FL and Shelby Messer of Sacramento, CA. She is also survived by cats and feathery friends.
