The memory of Marilyn Levy Silver of Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Bernard Silver; her parents, Miriam Levy and Louis Levy; and her brother-in-law Aaron Brenner. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Silver Hussey (David), William Roy Silver, Ted Michael Silver (Ann Brame) of Alexandria and Amy Helene Silver of Baton Rouge; her grandchildren, Emily Silver Weeks (Robert), Michael Louis Silver and Kate Silver Laborde (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Weiss Kirkland Weeks, Wells Kristopher Weeks, Wick Kelley Weeks, Mary Miller Weeks, Levy Robert Laborde, Scottie Ann Laborde and Keller Clark Laborde; and her sister Janice Brenner.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kramer Funeral Home (2905 Masonic Dr, Alexandria, LA 71301). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Jewish Cemetery - Pineville (Main St, Pineville, LA 71360).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Marilyn L. Silver Fund at the Central LA Community Foundation, P.O. Box 7432, Alexandria, LA 71306; or to a charity of your choice.
