With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lois Edwards of Alexandria, Louisiana, born in Flatwoods, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lois left this world on October 12, 2024 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Edwards and Martha Lou Edwards; her siblings, Lloyd Edwards, Lee Roy Edwards and Beatrice Edwards; and her nephew Frank Layssard.
She is survived by: her niece Virginia Perkins; her nephew Don Edwards (Nelda); her half-sisters, Jean Edwards, Ann Fletcher, Lynn Edwards, Rhonda Sue Edwards and Brenda Kay Edwards; and also Wanda Layssard.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Alexandria (701 Jackson St, Alexandria, LA 71301). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
