With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Randall Nachman II of Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on December 23, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge Julius B. Nachman and Maryanna Lisso Nachman of Alexandria; and his parents-in-law, Ernst and Sue Preis. He is survived by: his wife Julie Preis Nachman; his children, Leonard Randall Nachman, III (Elizabeth), Lauren Nachman Ritchey (Sean) and Catherine Nachman Thigpen (Grady); his grandchildren, Whitney Nachman of Baton Rouge, Elizabeth "Preis" Nachman of Baton Rouge, Caroline "Reese" Nachman of Baton Rouge, Annabelle Ritchey of Baton Rouge, Scarlett Ritchey of Baton Rouge, Samuel Thigpen of Baton Rouge, Charlotte Thigpen of Baton Rouge and Thomas Thigpen of Baton Rouge; his siblings, Dr. Lisso Nachman (Ellen) of Alexandria and Ann Finkelstein of Houston; and his brother-in-law E. Fredrick Preis (Sue) of New Orleans. He is also survived by nephews and nieces, cousins, and hundreds of friends.
