He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemmie C. Thompson and Isabelle Cole Thompson; and his siblings, J. W. Thompson, Annette McIntire and Billie J. Belgard.
He is survived by: his wife Shayne Everett Thompson; his children, Anthony Leamon Thompson (Sherry), Sherrie R. Gilcrease (Terry), Yvette Soulter (DeWayne) and Abigail Thompson; and his siblings, N. R. Thompson, L. E. Thompson, Nita Deville and Yvonne Pentz. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Hope Free Methodist Church (1178 LA-1206, Deville, LA 71328). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
