She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Lawrence Michiels, Sr.; her daughter Donna Lynn Michiels; her parents, Ernest Cook and Mary Cook; and her siblings, Ernest D. Cook, Jr., Marjorie Mathews, Mildred Mathews and Hilda VanDevelde.
She is survived by: her children, Lloyd L. Michiels, Jr. of Pineville, Dennis J. Michiels (Cindy) of Alexandria, Jacinta M. Walsh (John) of New Orleans and Donnita Malone (Keith) of Marksville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
