John left this world on November 4, 2024 at the age of 54, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Jordan Shane Scroggs (Jordan Elizabeth) and Jacob Dylan Scroggs; his stepdaughters, Aynsley Doyle and Brooke Doyle Thomas (Kurt Thomas); his grandchildren, John Robert Scroggs, Lauryn Hale, Amelie Doyle, Landon Doyle, Hayden Thomas, Reid Thomas and Barrett Thomas; his great grandchild Kayce Hale; his mother Edna Thrasher; his brother Rock Davis (Joe Bishop); his niece Briley Davis; and his nephew Bryson Davis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Pineville (2701 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360). A rosary was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (600 Lakeview St, Pineville, LA 71360).
