It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Theresa Duplissey Thiels of Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on September 16, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Bernice Duplissey; her son Kevin Thiels; and her great grandchild Katherine Thiels. She is survived by: her husband Charles P. Thiels; her children, Sharon Thiels Henard (Chuck), Mark Thiels (Megan), Brent Thiels (Phyllis) and Donna Thiels Hebert (Brad); her siblings, Jack Duplissey and Judy Duplissey Chance; and her grandsons, Tyler Thiels, Dalton Henard, Blaine Thiels, Wyatt Thiels, Ethan Thiels, Colt Henard, Brenton Thiels and Jacob Deville. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
