He was predeceased by: his parents, Walker Hogan and Ruby Hogan; his siblings, Kenneth Hogan, Nolan Hogan and Wilda Lilly; and his grandson Chase Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Jean Hogan of Alexandria; his children, Eric Hogan (Christy) of Oakdale and Stephanie Lachney of Alexandria; and his sister Margie Clark of Pine Prairie. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.
