She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Voorhies and Ora Lacombe Voorhies; her son Jeffery Ponthier; and her siblings, Milburn Voorhies, James Lee Voorhies, Odell Minell Voorhies, Jessie William Voorhies and Barbara Charrier.
She is survived by: her husband Emile Ovella, Jr.; her children, James "Jimmy" Ponthier (Angie), Minell Dallman (Gina), Debbie Chauvin (Jay), Nancy Westmoreland (Fred), Toni Lynn Ovella Tyson (Ronnie) and Cathy Ovella Wells (David); and her sister Lola Belt. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Her loving spirit and contributions to the Poland community will be remembered and cherished forever.
