Harold Book Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold Book of Larto, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Book and Mattie Book (Nichols); and his siblings, Willa Dean Bush (Ralph), Roger Book and Carol Rabalais (Lester).
He is survived by: his grandsons, Andrew Book, Jonathan Brown, Bobby Lee and Ash Aulds; his wife Margaret Book (Paulk); his children, Harold Book, Jr. (Deb) of West Monroe and Mellanie Book Randall (John David) of Jena; his grandchildren, Morgan Tarpley Smith (Steven), Lindsay Book Lee (Bobby), Amanda Book Brown (Jonathan), Tyler Tarpley (Brandi), Nathan Book (Taylor), Sarah Book Aulds (Ash), Casey Randall Knotts (Alan), Sarah Beth Randall and Hannah Randall Walker (Marcus); and his uncle Les Nichols. He is also survived by his wife but also his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Larto Baptist Church (107 LA-3102, Jonesville, LA 71343). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Buddy's name to Larto Baptist Church and mailed to Bro. Kenny Smith at 107 Hwy 3102, Jonesville, La 71343.
