We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2025, at the age of 71, Douglas Nugent (Alexandria, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his friend Bill; his wife Shirley Nugent; and his parent Clydie Slay Nugent. He is survived by: his friends, Mike Haney, Brian Nichols, Kenneth "Boo" Herrington, Jacob Belgard, Kenny Kessler, Jeff Paulk and Roy Nugent; his nephew Brandon Nugent; his daughters, Misty Pearson (Seth) and Allison Nugent; his siblings, David Nugent (Kathy), Charlie Nugent and Jackie Lord (Kenneth); his in-laws, Catherine Gray, Barbara Gaspard, Sharon Sanders (Reabon) and Willie Ladd; and his grandchildren, Jace Pearson, Rylee Baker, Karli Parker, Kaleb Parker and Kaden Parker.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holloway Baptist Church (7368 Hickory Grove Rd, Deville, LA 71328). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
