The memory of Dora Edith Dufour of Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Goss and Mary Lee Goss; and her siblings, Ricky Lane Goss and Mary Jean Sharbino. She is survived by: her husband Herbert H. Dufour of Alexandria, LA; her sons, Richard K. Wilcox (Lynda) of Sedalia, MO and Mark A. Wilcox of Hessmer, LA; and her grandchildren, Autumn R. Wilcox, Schylar M. Wilcox, Joshua L. Hartman and Meghann R. Smith. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kramer Funeral Home (2905 Masonic Dr, Alexandria, LA 71301). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations in Edith's memory can be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church, 2022 Horseshoe Drive, Alexandria, 71301.
