With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Ray Sibley (Alexandria, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis E. Sibley, Jr. and Esther Smith Sibley; his siblings, Charles Aaron, Rev. John D. Aaron, Jr., John Chris LaCour and Pearl Aaron Huckaby; and his grandson Brandon Sibley.
He is survived by: his wife Ida; his daughters, Courtney Sibley Holden of Houston, TX, Dawn Sibley and Candace Sibley; his grandchildren, Ashley Holden, Peyton Newton Simon (Ernest), Ty Holden, Makiah Zeigler, Tyler Cole Sibley, Kennedy Brown and Sydney LeGras; his great grandchildren, Ava and Kylan; and his siblings, Rev. Louis E. Sibley, III (Barbara) of Milwaukee, WI and Patricia Sibley Davis (Jackie). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church (2611 Overton St, Alexandria, LA 71301).
