He was predeceased by: his parents, Fate Dendy Mabry and Susannah Charlotte Jones Mabry; and his sister Ann Mabry Whittington. He is survived by: his wife Eva Deil Fields Mabry; his daughters, Donna Ann Mabry, Paula Claire Halle (Hugh) and Terri Lu Hensley (Larry); and his grandchildren, Donald Newman (Wendy), Patrick Newman (Sara), John Halle (Ashley), James Halle (Leslie), Alyse Halle Wilson (Logan) and Evan Hensley (Jennifer). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (5011 Jackson St, Alexandria, LA 71303). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
