He is survived by: his wife DeAnna T. Brister; his daughter Deanna Brister Iles (Robert); his stepson Courtney Chalker; his brother Clayton Brister (Linda); his grandchildren, Dr. Robert L. Iles IV (Bryanna), Julie Iles Ladmirault (Joseph) and Jannah Iles Alexander (Hunter); his great grandchildren, Levi Iles, Abigail Iles, Lucille Ladmirault, Theodore Ladmirault, Emily Alexander, Evan Alexander and Elijah Alexander; and his adoptive son Alex Etienne.
Viewing was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Alexandria (701 Jackson St, Alexandria, LA 71301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to the charity of one's choosing.
