She was predeceased by: her husband Jeffrey Allen Cox, Sr.; her parents, Johnny Shelton Sr. and Mary McCullough Gill; and her siblings, Earnest Warren Gill and Dorothy "Michelle" Gill Parnell.
She is survived by: her children, Ashley Marie Cox Teasley (James) and Jeffrey Allen Cox, Jr. (Amber Waskom); her grandsons, Landon James Teasley, Austin Layne Teasley and Chance Jay Cox; her siblings, Frances Ann Pritchard (Douglas), Johnny Gill, Jr. (Laura), Janet Faith Gill, Viola Elizabeth Easley (Alan) and Thomas Richard Gill, Sr.; and her uncle Pervis Gill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Riverview Baptist Church - Alexandria (8709 LA-1, Alexandria, LA 71302).
