It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christine Willis of Alexandria, Louisiana, born in Gary, Texas, who passed away on June 29, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Hubert Nolan Willis, Jr. (Linda) of Lena; her parents, Walter Hinton and Hattie Hinton; her siblings, L. D. Hinton, Earl Hinton, Junior Hinton, Irene Nichols and Polly Coutee; and her great grandchild Christian NesSmith.

She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Smith (Carl) of Lena. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
