He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Colvin Carr; his parents, John Carr and Lydia Royal Carr; his son James Neil Carr; and his granddaughter Amanda M. Leonard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah King (Sherman) and Denise Russell (Beaux); his grandchildren, David King (Kelsey), Alaina Mayeux (John) and Sean Russell (Baylee); and his great grandchildren, Mia Leonard, Harper King, Merritt Mayeux and Leighton Mayeux.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kramer Funeral Home (2905 Masonic Dr, Alexandria, LA 71301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Alexandria Memorial Gardens - Woodworth (8855 US-165, Woodworth, LA 71485).
