He was predeceased by: his wife Jill Stokkerman Desselle; his parents, Hanely Desselle and Irene Desselle; and his siblings, Johnny T. Desselle, Jerrell Desselle, Edwin Desselle and Joyce Constance.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Callahan (Doug) and Jon Desselle (Rebecca); his grandson Adam Dwyer; and his brother Nolan Desselle (Donna).
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Alexandria Memorial Gardens - Woodworth (8855 US-165, Woodworth, LA 71485).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Acadiana Veteran Alliance.
