She was predeceased by: her parents, Odile Thiels Welch and Harold Eugene Welch; her brother Glynn Lamar Scarborough, Sr.; and her nephew Adam Carey Welch. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Gremillion; her sons, Chad Gremillion (Jennifer) of Alexandria and Blake Gremillion (Bonnie); her grandchildren, Jackson, Caroline, Eva, Julia and Myer Gremillion; her siblings, Peggy Irby of Pollock, Ronnie Welch (Ginger) of Alexandria and Donnie Welch (Diane) of Alexandria; and also Jessie Goodman (KiKi) of Pineville. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Rita Catholic Church - Alexandria (4401 Bayou Rapides Rd, Alexandria, LA 71303). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to St. Rita Catholic Church at 4401 Bayou Rapides Road, Alexandria, LA 71303.
