It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Ann Harrell (Alexandria, Louisiana), who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Allen Harrell; her daughter Debra Ann Woodson; her parents, William David and Cora Smith Gallent; her sister Billie Sue Gallent; her half-sister Vivian Rodgers; her son-in-law Clyde A. Hale, Jr. (Nathan); and her stepson John Allen Harrell, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Aubrey Denson Kelley (Rene), Terry Laine Kelley (Barbara) and Donna Gayle Hale; her siblings, David Eugene Gallent (Maudie), Judith Faye Shannon and Jenny Lynn Gallent; her stepchildren, Jeff Harrell and Jenny Marie Harrell; and her grandchildren, Alicia Shelley, Johnathan Kelley, Jason Kelly (Emily), David Aaron Kelley (Alison), Donnie Woodson, Jeremy Kelley (Jarda) and Eric Kelley (Christin). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home (701 Jackson St, Alexandria, LA 71301). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Hixson Brothers (701 Jackson St, Alexandria, LA 71301).
