Belton left this world on April 9, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Deville and Henrietta Deville (Holland); his wife Louise Deville (Choate); his brother-in-law Sammy Smith; his granddaughter Barbara Louise Deville; and his great grandchild Alan Robert Rose.
He is survived by: his sons, Jack Deville (Holly) and Billy Don Morris (Myrna); his sisters, Lena Smith and Corrine Burnaman; his grandchildren, Jack Deville, Jr., Kathy Rose (Bryan), Robyn Medley (Neil) and Michelle Denney (Darrin); and his great grandchildren, Tristen Denney, Sydney Denney, Sophia Medley and Georgia Medley.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cheatham County Funeral Home (117 Elizabeth St, Ashland City, TN 37015). A masonic service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
