She was predeceased by: her husband Kenny L. Bland; her son Kenny L. Bland Jr.; her parents, Harry B Bridges Sr. and Ruby James Bridges; her siblings, Evelyn McCoy (G. K.), Floal "Toto" Simmons (Julian), Harry "Man" Bridges Jr., Ruby "Pete" Tate (Emmett) and Gerald "Sugarman" Bridges; and her daughter-in-law Tina Giluso Bland.
She is survived by: her sons, Gerald "Booboo" Bland (Cindy) and Michael "Boozie" Bland (Diana); her granddaughters, Haley Michelle Bland and Jessica Renee Nolley (Jeremy); and her great grandchildren, Claire and Sean.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brandon G Thompson Funeral Home (12012 US-190, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
