She was predeceased by: her husband Pearson Robert Bount; her daughter Emily 'Christine Brooks; her parents, Hamp Hoyt and Lorine Hoyt; and her brothers, J. L. Hoyt and J. D. Hoyt.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Giroir (Howard), Irene Blount and Ricky Blount (Lisa); her grandchildren, Michelle, Melissa, Donovan, Megan, Chelsea, Christopher, Rachel and Chad; and her siblings, Javis Hoyt and Jerry Hoyt (Sarah). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
