He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Sistrunk and Nora Sistrunk; his brothers, Edward and Michael Sistrunk; and his nephew Edward'Eddie'Sistrunk.
He is survived by: his wife Jewell D. Bradham Sistrunk; his children, Shanda Sistrunk Holak of Hammond and Ronald'Ronnie'Sistrunk (Alta) of Fluker; his grandson Dru Sistrunk of Florida; his sister Carolyn Wilkinson (Herman) of Walker; and his siblings-in-law, Deloris Sistrunk and Dewitt Bradham (Sheila). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
