It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Ducote of Akers, Louisiana, born in Sorrento, Louisiana, who passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Octave Morin and Corrine Landy Morin; and her sons, Jeff and Duane Melancon. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Ducote; and her children, Kevin Melancon (Kim), Sue Melancon, Raven Harelson (Jody), Camelia Melancon, Gail Millet (Larry), Mary Melancon and Randy Ducote (Nikki). She is also survived by 28 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Outreach Center in Prairieville, LA.
