He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Sr. Artigue and Gladys Darbonne Artigue; his siblings, Leon Artigue and Kirt Artigue; and his in-laws, Joseph and Lilith Besson Delapasse.
He is survived by: his wife Phylis Delapasse Artigue; his son John "J. J." Wayne Artigue Jr. (Lisa Guitreau); his grandchildren, Dane Guitreau (Jordyn), Megan Trabeaux and Tyler Guitreau (Meghan); his great grandchildren, Hudson, Brogan Guitreau, Emmalyn Trabeaux and Dominik Self; his siblings, Daniel Artigue Jr., Delores Devillier, Della Prudhomme and Betty Moreau (Mike); and his sister-in-law Joyce Artigue.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (402 S Kirkland St, Brusly, LA 70719). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location.
