He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Blackie" Landry and Stella Loupe Landry; and his brother Greg Landry. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Landry (Kurt), Jerry Landry, Jr. (Rebecca), Lindsay Duke (Phillip) and Nicole Rivere; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Cascio, Shane Dearman, Kinsey Dearman, Jackson Landry, Gabrielle Landry, Tres Landry, Bryce Schexnayder, Michael Roubique, Jr., Allie Duke, Jameson Duke, Jolie Rivere and Kolbie Rivere; his great grandchildren, Rivers Cascio and Luca Cascio; and his sisters, Mary Beth Stockwell (Dale), Sheila Register (Stanley), Debra Soniat (Steve), Trudy Badeaux (Football) and Sheri Domingue (Josh). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
