It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Marie Gautreau Wells of Addis, Louisiana, born in Gonzales, Louisiana, who passed away on July 31, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Gautreau and Cecelia Gautreau; her son Shane Wells; and her siblings, Lula Bell Brignac, Valburg Fife, Vernon Gautreau, Matthew Gautreau, Martha Perdue, Shirley Granier, Alex Gautreau and Dennis Gautreau.
She is survived by: her husband Harold R Wells; her children, Tammy Landry (Mark), Clark Wells (Jennifer), Chantel Barbin (Paul) and Casey Roussel (Toni); and her grandchildren, Corey Wilkinson (Rachel), Kendal Waldrop (Anthony), Alyse Bourgeois (Thomas), Olivia Wells, Tyler Barbin, Nicholas Barbin, Karsyn Roussel, Kaylen Roussel, Dean Landry (Ashley), Clint Landry and Katherine Hebert (Toby). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, and 7 bonus great grandchildren.
