He was predeceased by: his wife Margie Williams Cassidy; and his parents, Minor Cassidy and Kathleen Hines Cassidy. He is survived by: his children, Paula Cassidy Broussard (Edward) of Lafayette, Billy Cassidy (Kathy) of Corpus Christi and Patrick Cassidy (Christine) of Lafayette; his brother Harold Cassidy (Carol Ann) of Lufkin, Texas; his grandchildren, Erin Broussard, Katie Broussard, Ryan Cassidy, Jarod Cassidy, Regan Cassidy and James Cassidy; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Cassidy and Cassidy Duhon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
