She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert F. Wendrock and Betty Jane Reed Wendrock; the father of her children Larry Gates; and her pet Cali. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Gates, II of Atlanta, Dirk Gates (Sharon) of Lafayette and David Gates (Jennifer) of Ohio; her grandchildren, Kristen Hill (David), Darren Gates, Zoe Gates and Larry "Trey" Gates, III; and her siblings, Robert F. "Wendy" Wendrock, Jr. (Ree) of Texas, Huttson Wendrock of Texas and Nancy Wendrock (Jennifer) of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
