He was predeceased by: his father Oscar Lee John, Sr.; and his grandson Karsyn Delcambre. He is survived by: his wife Johni Breaux John of Rayne, LA; his children, Nena John of Rayne, LA, Lyra-Lee John of Rayne, LA and Fox Oscar John of St. Louis, MO; his mother Judith Ann Felder John of Carencro, LA; and his siblings, Julie Guidry (Derek) of Carencro, LA, Lee Carter (Chuck) of Lakeland, FL, Christina Aymond of Carencro, LA, Andrew John and Patrick John. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a nursing scholarship will be created in Oscar's name at a later date.
